A carious maxillary central incisor with acute suppurative pulpitis requires:
A. immediate endodontics and apicectomy.
B. incision and drainage.
C. opening of the canal and drainage for one week.
D. pulpotomy.

Answer: D
Most dentists are tripped by the word "suppurative" thinking that there's pus forming or the condition being chronic apical abscess. But Acute Suppurative Pulpitis is just another term for acute pulpitis. So the answer would be Pulpotomy or Pulpectomy.
